I don't think there are really that many pure TA guilds currently, but I haven't been playing that much lately. Nowadays, I think that most people FList it or play around with their guild when there aren't enough people to do GvG or HA more than have dedicated TA guilds.

The only guild I can recall being primarily TA oriented is some crew with the tag [Luna] (not the old Korean guild). I think I've seen them recruiting a few times in-game LF TA'ers.
Other than that, TA seems to be something you go to to with friends or guildies when you're bored. That used to be HA, but now that that sucks, I'm having more fun working on glad titles.

Yeah the recent move to 8v8 on HA made it more unattractive for spontaneous team creation if you don't have a PvP focused guild. Hopefully more folk will play organized TA as a result. I use to play AB with a few guildes when I was bored, but the crazy wait to get into a game, makes me now play RA/TA more often. I even bought another account just so I had something to do with all the balthazar faction, as I had unlocked everything playing AB on my primary account.
I don't know if you will ever see a great number of TA centric guilds, not without a public ladder of some sort fueling it, but the HA changes might help a bit, let's hope.

Same, I haven't been playing at all lately so I wouldn't know if any new guilds have formed that have a primary emphasis on competing in TA. Up until the beginning of March 2007, I was also noticing a decline in the number of guilds who placed an emphasis on competing strongly in TA. I think that most of the strong players that enjoyed TA just moved to a friends list system instead.
However, there are several guilds from the past that did have an emphasis on TA at least in some point in their history (some of which later became "HA guilds" or "GvG guilds"):
The Flying Fortune Cookies [Eat]
Rally Opposing Fears [ROFL]
Rage Quitters of [TA]
[kame] (or was it [Kame]?)
[Luna]
[Nway]
[nike]
[Serp]
There Is No Cow Level [cow] (March/April 2006 only)
There are a couple other key ones I'm not remembering at the moment. There was one I played with (as a PuG, typically monk) quite a bit that had Shadow Warlock, Chaos, and lol internet, but for the life of me cannot remember the name or tag of the guild. Also, there was another TA guild of which the name escapes me that had Absum before Absum moved on to a GvG guild. There was also a time where [QQ] (they were called One Hit Quitters instead of Team Quitter at the time) was a dominant presence in TA, but I don't think that their primary focus was ever with TA.
This list only includes guilds from the time frame of March 2006 onward, so I'm sure there are plenty I've left out from before that time as well as some I'm failing to remember or never got the pleasure to fight after May 2006 (due to time zone differences). Please feel free to add the names of any I failed to mention for historical purposes.

Some old friends of mine started another TA guild: Totally Hip Team Arena Farmers[Wins]
Yeah lol... don't ask.
As far as I know Kame, Nway and whatever guild JZ is in are also present in TA.

That triggered my memory into remembering another guild that had an emphasis on TA at some point -- [jtza] (I know some characters were capitalized in this tag but can't remember which). I believe JZ was in that guild at some point IIRC.

Play TA frequently, improve as much as you can, and make yourself visible by PuGing. Not having a guild tag under your name can help initiate conversation if you PuG with a guild and they like what they see.

Yeah Divine hit most of the guilds, there were quite a few remakes of some of the guilds mentioned (ex [Eat] - [kThx] and [TA] - [RA] - [Ghey] etc) so yeah most of them were covered.

A lot of ex-Kame, Something Clever [OoOo], [tmb] and various other members are now in [Quit] and we're in JzTa's alliance. We do the whole TA thing.

Serp is now currently rocking the WoW 5v5 arena. I am currently LFG since I'd rather die than spend a year grinding a character to pvp with in WoW only to have a metagame change make that character suck.

QFT. I'm also currently lfg, as after you left I think I was the only person who had signed on in the last 3 weeks or so? Lame.

By all means, please list the top European TA guilds of ages past. I didn't play at times where I got to face them.
